1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LinkedRemotely ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all visitors, employers, and talent users.

2. Description of Service

LinkedRemotely is a job board connecting remote-first companies with tech talent. Employers can post job listings, manage applications, and access candidate profiles. Talent users can browse jobs, save listings, apply to positions, and receive job recommendations and alerts.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information.
• Maintain the security of your password and account.
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Employer Obligations

Employers posting jobs on LinkedRemotely agree to:

• Post only genuine, current job openings at their organization.
• Not discriminate against applicants based on protected characteristics.
• Respond to applications in a timely and professional manner.
• Not use the Platform for spam, phishing, or any fraudulent purpose.
• Comply with all applicable employment and anti-discrimination laws.

5. Talent Obligations

Talent users agree to:

• Provide truthful and accurate profile information.
• Apply only to positions they are genuinely interested in and qualified for.
• Not use automated tools to scrape listings or flood employers with applications.
• Respect the intellectual property of job descriptions and company profiles.

6. Payments and Credits

Employers purchase credit packs to post jobs. Credits are consumed per job posting. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable except where required by applicable law. We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time with reasonable notice.

7. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of content you submit (job listings, profile information, application materials). By submitting content, you grant LinkedRemotely a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, distribute, and promote your content on the Platform. We will not sell your data to third parties.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure.
• Harvest or collect user information without consent.
• Impersonate another person or organization.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for conduct that violates these terms or is harmful to other users. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of job listings, the conduct of employers or talent users, or the outcome of any application or hiring process. We are not a party to any employment relationship formed through the Platform.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LinkedRemotely shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
